Wren, Reynold, Everett, and Lucy face off against ferocious, nougat-munching monsters that lurk in the shadows of the sleepy town of Auburn Hollow. They must learn to use their imaginations to unlock the magical powers of their homemade costumes and save the universe on a night where monsters reign… Halloween!

In May 2015, Frederator Studios announced that it was producing an animated short based on the video game to be written and storyboarded by Zac Gorman and directed by Pat McHale.[1] In February 2017, it was announced that the project was now an animated television series.[2] Furthermore, Amazon would be co-producing and distributing the series as a Prime Original. Costume Quest is the first project between the two companies.
